Developmental Analysis Review Tool (D.A.R.T)

A Big-Picture Editorial Review & Revision Tool for Fiction and Nonfiction

Most writers don’t need more feedback. They need to see the whole book clearly.

The Developmental Analysis Review Tool (D.A.R.T.) is a comprehensive editorial analysis designed to evaluate your manuscript at the highest level. It identifies what’s weakening clarity, engagement, and momentum, then provides a clear, prioritized revision plan before you invest in deep developmental or line-level editing.

This step exists to help writers revise wisely instead of expensively.

For many authors, D.A.R.T. saves thousands of dollars by preventing premature or misdirected developmental edits. For experienced writers, this level of analysis may be all that’s needed to complete a strong, publishable revision.

What the Developmental Analysis Review Tool Is (and Isn’t)

D.A.R.T. delivers a 20–30 page macro-level manuscript analysis grounded in experienced human editorial judgment.

We combine human editorial insight with advanced AI tools to analyze structure, patterns, pacing, and reader flow across full-length manuscripts. These tools allow for deeper coverage and consistency, while all conclusions, priorities, and revision guidance are shaped by human discernment.

Your manuscript remains fully confidential. It is never shared, reused, or used to train any system. This is the clarity stage that prevents wasted time, money, and misdirected effort.
