What would you do if God asked you that question? What if you believed God could use you? Yes, you, just as you are.
When God asked me that question, I had to be honest and say, “Nothing.” I felt like I believe many others feel: overlooked, misunderstood, and alone with nothing to offer. We tend to disqualify ourselves, assuming inadequacies and adopting self defeating mindsets. We think because of our perceived limitation, we can’t offer anything to the kingdom. But what if we were wrong?
When God asked that question to Moses, it led to him being used in his inadequacy to free an entire nation. And like Moses, when I trusted and obeyed, I got the big idea to write a 40-day devotional, and the process has been nothing short of transformative.
What if God is asking us what is in our hand, not so we can respond with what we can do for God, but what God can do through us? What if all God needs is for us to simply say yes and give Him our hands?
This 40-day devotional focusing on our hands is aimed to prepare us to trust in God’s goodness, learn to rely on his grace and to surrender to him daily what’s in our hands. As you can imagine, the enemy did not want this book to be written and caused many roadblocks. But God had other plans, and now it is in your hands. I pray that you are blessed as you read it.
