Life doesn’t always stay tidy. It breaks in unexpected places.

But when someone is willing to tell the truth about what they’ve walked through and how God met them in the middle of it. It does something inside us. That’s the heartbeat of Beauty for Ashes.

This project gathers everyday believers who’ve faced grief, loss, betrayal, shame, and those long impossible seasons… and discovered God rebuilding something sturdy and good in the middle of the ruins. These aren’t polished or perfect stories. They’re honest, tender ones. And they carry the kind of hope you can actually feel.

Our cohort includes more than twenty voices writing from real places of pain, healing, and renewed trust in God. Each contributor brings a different angle of redemption, and together they form a chorus of stories for anyone navigating their own ashes. Each author brings their own blend of healing, faith, and courage. Offering something true and needed for the road ahead.

In this anthology, you’ll find powerful stories on:
