Have you ever dreamed of becoming a published author—but felt overwhelmed by the process or unsure where to begin?
This is your invitation to be part of a powerful book collaboration project designed to help you write your story, grow in confidence, and see your name in print—alongside other faith-filled creatives on the same journey.
Led by transformation coach Sally Webb and author mentor Jesse Rivas, this one-year mentorship is built to walk with you step-by-step as you write one chapter for a powerful, multi-author book. You’ll be fully supported in a Spirit-led, collaborative environment that honors both craft and excellence.
What’s Included
Each author will write one chapter (2000-3000 words) over the course of the year. You’ll receive mentorship and practical guidance on every element of that chapter.

Jesus taught through stories, and many Christian writers followed that path. From C. S. Lewis to Tolkien, story has long been a way to capture attention and teach truth without forcing it. Parables invite reflection. They stay with us. They shape how we see the world.
We’re gathering a cohort of writers to create modern parables together—stories with contemporary settings and timeless Kingdom meaning. Like the Inklings, we’ll write in community, sharpen one another, and craft stories that help readers encounter truth through imagination. And we’ll help you write it.

What it Costs
To produce a book of professional quality—with mentorship, guidance, developmental editing, proofreading, formatting, design, marketing, and publishing—we estimate the total project cost to be $10,000–$20,000.
Rather than passing that full cost onto each author, we’ve chosen to keep author costs low by crowdfunding the second phase of the project and offering optional upgrades for those who want additional visibility or flexibility.
To make it simple and manageable, we’ve broken the author commitment into two phases:
Phase 1: Writing & Mentorship
One upfront payment of $497.
- or three payments of $185
- or six monthly payments of $100
Phase 2: Editing & Publishing
Together, we’ll run a group crowdfunding campaign to raise the remaining funds needed for professional editing, design, and publishing
This campaign will also help promote you and your message to a wider audience
Prefer to skip crowdfunding? You may opt out by contributing an additional $500 to cover your portion of editing and publishing costs.
This is a mission-first book about amplifying voices and making an eternal impact.
10% of proceeds from book sales will be donated to a cause aligned with the book’s theme, and the rest will be reinvested into Above The Sun to fund future projects.
